Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients from an AML and reputational risk perspective.
- Carry out client and matter risk assessments, evaluating factors like jurisdiction and commercial activities.
- Run company searches on all new client engagements determining if there are any PEPs, sanctions or negative media issues.
- Manage the AML workflow, escalating issues as needed, and ensure accurate client data in internal systems.
Requirements
Relevant experience in AML compliance is essential, while a legal firm background is desirable but not essential.
