FinTech

Financial Technology - “FinTech” for short - is used to describe technology that is created for the purpose of improving and automating the delivery of financial services. Technology and customer experience is at the heart of FinTech, and UK FinTech investment almost doubled in 2019, catapulting the UK to second in the global rankings for FinTech investment!

Opportunities to work in FinTech are increasing all the time as technology continues to evolve, and these organisations are starting to compete with more traditional financial services businesses, gaining market share along the way. We have been working with FinTech companies since our inception, and have a lot of experience with this sector; some examples of the types of FinTech businesses we work with include mobile and cross-border payments, personal finance apps, Challenger Banks and RegTech / WealthTech companies.

Banking

We work with a number of tier 2 and tier 3 Retail and Investment Banks across the UK and have been doing so for the last 16 years. Banking remains a primary sector for our financial services delivery and as such, the opportunities for Compliance, Financial Crime, and Risk positions are diverse.

FX Companies

The forex market is the largest and most liquid market in the world. London is the leader in Forex trading, and in 2019 hit a record in $6.6 trillion of FX deals per day! It represents every global currency, and trading takes place 24 hours a day, five days a week. As such, work in Foreign Exchange (FX) Companies is inexhaustive, and offers an exciting variety of challenges.

Asset Management and Wealth Management

Total assets under management by UK member firms in 2018 was £7.7 trillion. Asset, wealth and investment management is at the heart of the UK’s financial services, and a key area of the client base that we deliver to.
