Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the FCA Handbook and Payment Services Regulation.
- Consumer duty compliance and providing regulatory guidance across business areas.
- Design and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring and testing programme to assess regulatory risks.
- Conduct thematic reviews, monitor key processes, and escalate findings to stakeholders.
- Evaluate first-line control frameworks and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage customer outcome assessments related to outsourcing, product governance, and complaints.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years in a regulatory compliance role within a fintech, payments/EMI business, neo bank, or similar.
- Expertise:Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, Payment Services Regulation, Consumer Duty, Safeguarding etc.
- Skills:Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and deliver high-quality assessments.
- Communication:Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
